Two new candidates for the 2016 presidential election announced this past week.  Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) announced his bid for the presidency on April 7.  Hillary Clinton announced her bid for the presidency as well on April 12.

Paul announced his presidential campaign at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY.   Clinton announced by releasing a video to her website.  She had previously made a post on Twitter, stating she had an announcement to make that Sunday.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

In the midst of his announcement, Paul has been in the media recently for interviews and promotions.  Paul has gained a reputation for acting in a disrespectful manner towards reporters.

While she was Secretary of State, Clinton had sent official emails through her personal account and deleted them.  Federal charges were considered, but never enforced.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) plans to announce later today, April 13.
